Alexandra Rolf

Welcome to my Graduate with Leadership Distinction e-portfolio!

About Me:

My name is Alexandra Rolf, and I am a Political Science major with a minor in Leadership Studies at the University of South Carolina. I will be continuing my education next Fall at Northern Kentucky University's Chase College of Law.

From a young age, I have aspired to pursue a legal career. I have been drawn to my history and government courses. My time at the University of South Carolina has allowed me to continue my passion of the political and legal field, as well as connect with opportunities that have enhanced both my academic and professional journey.

One of the most impactful experiences was interning at the South Carolina State House. I was a Senate Page, for former Senator Mike Fanning. Not only did this strengthen my political knowledge, but it also deepened my motivation to pursue law and one day become an active public servant. I’ve also been involved with Phi Alpha Delta, USC’s pre-law fraternity, where I built valuable connections and strengthened my understanding of the legal field.

My long-term goal is to become a practicing attorney and eventually serve in state government. I am passionate about serving my community and contributing to the creation and enforcement of laws that benefit my district. To further demonstrate my commitment to public service and leadership, I am currently pursuing my Graduation with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement, a distinction that reflects the leadership skills and civic awareness I’ve developed at USC.

Outside of academics, I’ve embraced leadership roles such as serving as a Recruitment Leader (Pi Chi) within Greek Life. In this role, I advised 20–25 potential new members (PNMs) through the sorority recruitment process, offering unbiased guidance and support to my PNMs as they made their philanthropic choices between our 13 on-campus chapters. This experience sharpened my time management, leadership and communication skills.

In addition to my internship and full class schedule, I have maintained a full-time position as a Leasing Associate at The HUB at Columbia. In this role, I assist with lease administration, conduct property tours, promote our property to potential leads, and conduct market surveys. I also hold an interdisciplinary certificate in Strategic Thinking and Communication, which has further prepared me for the complexities of both legal practice and leadership in government. These combined experiences have fueled my commitment to law, leadership, and lifelong service to my community.
